Well, we have yet another former Bush official trying to distance himself from the administration, and their lack of judgment in the buildup to war. George Tenent was made to take the fall for the Intelligence Community's failures, but was still given the Medal of Freedom for doing such a great job. What that medal did was buy Tenent's silence as well as buy the President some time before the election. Now, the former CIA Chief is throwing it all back at the Administration. Was Tenent guiltless? Not according to other Intelligence officers.
But along with the Gonzalez & Wolfowitz scandals showing the depth of corruption that this Administration regards as normal operating policy, this is one more Floydian brick in the wall...
Why is it that the media constantly allows Conservatives and Wingnuts to pontificate on how America wants to win in Iraq and does not want to withdraw, despite the countless polls to the contrary? And finally Keith Olbermann calls B.S. on the tired old Republican line that Democrats will lead this country to ruin. Keith takes on Rudy's assertion that not only will he keep this country safe, but electing a Democrat – any Democrat – will cause a body count. Once you get past the first half of Keith's rant, he effectively knocks down Republican claims to owning the security issue.
